The Beauty of the Moon

Tonight the Moon is full. It is not just any full moon though, tonight is the Golden Beaver Supermoon. As we were driving home from our evening walk it was the perfect moment to see it in all its beauty. It was just above the horizon and the golden color left me in awe. I knew that I wanted to attempt to get a picture of it when I was home.

At home, I grabbed my things and went outside to capture a photo. Alas, the moon was not yet high enough to be seen over the houses around me so I had to be patient.  It was worth the wait, I took pleasure in setting up and capturing the photos. Even just sitting out and looking at it was refreshing to me. Unplugged Family Adventures don't have to be complicated. Sometimes it is just choosing to go out with your family and look up at the moon.
